Robertson wins Raceway 7's Fastrak race
CONNEAUT, Ohio (July 26) — Wayne Robertson of Corning, N.Y., made the most of his trip to Raceway 7 Friday night, racing to his second victory on the Northeast tour for the Sweeney Chevrolet FASTRAK Late Model Series. Robertson earned $1,200 in the Crate Late Model event.
The pole-starting Robertson led every lap to win in his first-ever visit to Raceway 7. He led Matt Latta of Conneaut Lake, Pa., at the finish. Billy Henry of Connersville, Pa., finished third in the 25-lap race with George Kowatic of Aliquippa, Pa., and Mike Mitchell rounding out the top five.
