ALBANY, Ga. (Aug. 9) — Polesitter Casey Barrow of Savannah, Ga., led every lap of Friday’s Southern All Star Racing Series main event at Albany Motor Speedway, earning $4,000 for the second series victory of his career.

Barrow, whose first series victory came in in 2009, turned back a late charge from fourth-starting Ivedent Lloyd Jr. of Ocala, Fla., to claim the 40-lap race. Lloyd, the two-time series champion, caught and pressured Barrow in the race's later stages but couldn't find a way around in settling for the runner-up finish. | Slideshow

Tyler Ivey of Tallahassee, Fla., was third with sixth-starting William Thomas of Phenix City, Ala., fourth. Fast qualifier Joseph Joiner of Milton, Fla., finished fifth to give Florida drivers three of the top five spots in the final rundown.
