McCoy races to second Southeastern Series victory

LAVONIA, Ga. (Aug. 23) — David McCoy of Franklin, N.C., earned $1,500 for his second Southeastern Late Model Sportsman Series victory of the season Friday at Lavonia (Ga.) Speedway. McCoy took the checkers ahead of Kip Cochran and Bubba Russell.
Lance Finn finished 10th and receiveda $300 bonus as the top-finishing driver using a crate engine.
The tour returns to Lavonia on Sept. 13-14 for the Georgia State Championships.
