Berck flies to ninth SLMRS victory at Eagle

EAGLE, Neb. (Sept. 8 ) — Kyle Berck of Marquette, Neb., continued his onslaught of the Nebraska-based Super Late Model Racing Series by capturing Sunday’s Nebraska Cup at Eagle Raceway and the $1,000 winner’s purse. | Slideshow
The series-leading Berck notched his tour-best ninth victory in coming from his sixth starting spot to top polesitter Bill Leighton Jr of Omaha, Neb., in Eagle’s season-ending event.
Travis Dickes of Madison, Neb., a heat winner along with Berck and Leighton, was third while Tad Pospisil of Norfolk, Neb., and Justin Zeitner of LaVista, Neb., rounded out the top five.
