Wallace tops Sullivan for I-30 victory
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Sept. 14) — Wendell Wallace of Batesville, Ark., raced to his second Comp Cams Super Dirt Series victory of the season and a $2,500 payday Saturday night in the tour’s final visit of the season to I-30 Speedway.
Jack Sullivan of Greenbrier, Ark., finished second at the tight quarter-mile oval with rookie contender Ashley Newman of Ripley, Tenn., third. Jon Kirby of Russellville, Ark., was fourth with Timothy Culp of West Monroe, La., rounding out the top five.
Kyle Beard of Trumann, Ark., who wrapped up the series championship with a Sept. 7 victory at Northeast Arkansas Speedway in Harrisburg, Ark., finished 16th in Saturday's feature.
