Wall repeats at Jackson's All-American 50
JACKSON, Miss. (Sept. 28) — Chris Wall’s stellar season on the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series got even better Saturday night when the former series champion raced to a $5,000 repeat victory at Jackson Motor Speedway’s third annual All-American 50.
Wall of Holden, La., padded his series points lead with his eighth series victory of the season as the tour heads for its 2013 finale Oct. 4-5 at Greenville Speedway’s Gumbo Nationals.
Neil Baggett of Shannon, Miss., who trailed Wall by 100 points entering Saturday’s event, was second at the finish to drop another five points behind in the title chase. Rick Rickman of Columbus, Miss., was third with Wendell Wallace fourth.
Two-time series champion David Breazeale of Four Corners, Miss., was fifth after lowering the track record in time trials.
