By Gary Skinner
DirtonDirt.com correspondentALMA, Ohio (Nov. 2) — Chris Garnes of Evans, W.Va., earned $2,222 on Saturday at Atomic Speedway’s season finale, winning the fifth annual Dan Reno Memorial.
Garnes briefly lost the lead to Wayne Chinn of Bradford, Ohio, on the 17th of 25 laps, but a caution negated Chinn’s move and restored Garnes to a lead he wouldn’t give up again. The father-and-son duo of Tim and Zack Dohm of Cross Lanes, W.Va., finished second and third with home-state drivers Chad Smith of Miamisburg and Andy Bond of Coolville rounding out the top five. | Slideshow
