Bronson nabs $3,000 UDLMCS victory
BARBERVILLE, Fla. (Nov. 9) — Kyle Bronson of Brandon, Fla., captured his second career United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series victory on Saturday at Volusia Speedway Park, pocketing $3,000 at the half-mile oval. | Slideshow
Ivedent Lloyd Jr., of Ocala, Fla., earned runner-up honors with championship front-runner Mark Whitener of Middleburg, Fla., rounding out the podium. David Clegg of Bunnell, Fla., and Bo Allen of Bryceville, Fla., rounded out the race's top-five finishers.

His previous UDLMCS victory came March 9 at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Fla. ... Volusia was originally scheduled to host a weekend doubleheader, but Friday's event was scrapped. ... Lloyd won the tour's previous event at Volusia on Oct. 6. ... Whitener has unofficially clinched his third series championship; he was also crowned in 2010 and 2012. ... Drivers who didn't start the main event: Hamp Conley, Donnie Chappell, Scott Lagasse and Chris Freeman. ... The series wraps up its season with a pair of $3,000-to-win events at Hendry County Motorsports Park in Clewiston, Fla., on Nov. 16, and North Florida Speedway in Lake City, Fla., on Nov. 30.
