Collins earns $5,000 at Ocala's Powell Memorial

OCALA, Fla. (June 6) — Johnny Collins of Jacksonville, Fla., earned $5,000 earned $5,000 at Ocala Speedway for his second victory of the season on the United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series. Collins won the 13th annual Powell Memorial, the first time the event has been run on dirt. Shane Williams of DeLeon Springs, Fla., driving Kent Corbin's backup car, finished second with former asphalt standout Rich Pratt of Anthony, Fla., was third. The first-year series drew a record 53 Late Models.
