McCreadie wins Who 55, earns $5,500 at Merritt
From correspondent reports
MERRITT, Mich. (June 12) — Lapping all but two competitors, Tim McCreadie of Watertown, N.Y., earned $5,500 in his first trip to Merritt Speedway in winning the UMP DIRTcar-sanctioned Who 55. McCreadie's No. 39 topped a 54-car field in Michigan's richest Dirt Late Model event while Dona Marcoullier of nearby Houghton Lake, Mich., and multitime and reigning track champion Frank Seder of Alger, Mich., finished second and third at the quarter-mile oval. McCreadie also earned nearly $3,000 in lap money at Merritt in a race hampered by rain sprinkles and a tornado watch in the area. | Slideshow
