Cole hauls to Carolina Clash victory at Lavonia

LAVONIA, Ga. (June 13) — Benji Cole of Canon, Ga., won a 40-lap feature at Lavonia Speedway for his second Carolina Clash Super Late Model victory in the last four series events. Cole outran Ed Gibbons of Manning, S.C., for� $4,000 payday. Ricky Weeks of Rutherfordton, N.C., Casey Roberts of Toccoa, Ga., and Travis Pennington of Winston, Ga., rounded out the top five on a night when 28 Late Models entered the event. The Carolina Clash is scheduled to race at Tri-County Speedway in Brasstown, N.C., on Saturday.
