Carrier gets 4th IRS victory at Portsmouth

PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (June 14) — Eddie Carrier Jr. of Salt Rock, W.Va., raced to victory at Portsmouth Raceway Park for his fourth Independent Racing Series victory of the season. Carrier topped polesitter Robbie Blair of Titusville, Pa., for the $5,000 payday. Donnie Moran of Dresden, Ohio, was third while Mike Marlar of Winfield, Tenn., the consolation race winner, rallied to finish fourth ahead of series rookie Mike Knight of Ripley, N.Y.
