Two of the winningest drivers in Western Allstars DIRTcar Late Model Series history continued their winning ways June 21-22 as the series made a northern swing. Steve Drake of San Luis Obispo captured Friday's weekend opener at Ocean Speedway in Watsonville while Bobby Hogge IV of Salinas closed the doubleheader with a victory at Antioch Speedway. The winners earned $3,000 apiece. Chris Shannon of Merced, Calif., posted a pair of top-three finishes on the weekend and is 18 points behind the leading Hogge in the series title chase. | Ocean slideshow | Antioch slideshow
