Davis on top at two-series clash in Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (June 27) — Polesitter Lee Davis of Greenwood, La., won at I-30 Speedway to earn $1,250 in a race co-sanctioned by the O'Reilly Southern United Professional Racing tour and the Arkansas Motorsports Professionals. Davis notched his second SUPR victory of the season in outrunning Late Model rookie Kevin Sitton of Baytown, Texas. Jack Sullivan of Greenbrier, Ark., was third followed by 17th-starting Kenny Merchant of West Monroe, La., and Billy Moyer Jr. of Batesville, Ark. The June 28 SUPR-AMP event was rained out.
