Nelson goes distance for AMSOIL win in Proctor

(June 29) — Reigning series champion Darrell Nelson of Hermantown, Minn., led all 35 laps at Proctor Speedway for his first AMSOIL Late Model Series victory since 2004. Nelson started on the pole and was never headed in picking up the $2,000 victory. Pat Doar of New Richmond, Wis., finished second followed by Canadian Joel Cryderman of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Tom Waseleski Jr. and 16th-starting Harry Hanson.
