ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Formats, lineups and results from the inaugural VP Racing Fuels Gateway Dirt Nationals presented by Karl Performance at The Dome at America's Center for unsanctioned Late Models and modifieds (results unofficial):
Event format
LATE MODELS
Thursday time trials: Best times from two rounds of qualifying will transfer the quickest 100 drivers to Friday and Saturday action (next 20 quickest qualifiers compete in non-qualifiers’ race; other competitors are done for the weekend).
Thursday non-qualifier race: $1,000-to-win (top two finishers can pass up earnings to transfer to weekend action).
Friday prelims: Heat races and consolations transfer drivers into 25-lap feature; top eight finishers in Friday’s $5,000-to-win feature locked into redraw for first four rows of Saturday feature.
Saturday: Consolation races set remainder of feature field for $20,000-to-win finale.

Thursday time trials: Best times from two rounds of qualifying will transfer the quickest 100 drivers to Friday and Saturday action (next 40 quickest qualifiers compete in non-qualifier races; other competitors are done for the weekend).
Thursday non-qualifier races: $750-to-win (top two finishers can pass up earnings to transfer to weekend action).
Thursday heat races: Among top 100 qualifiers with drivers transferring to Friday feature.
Friday consolation races: Set remainder of lineup for 20-lap feature; top eight finishers in Friday’s $5,000-to-win feature locked into redraw for first four rows of Saturday feature.
Saturday: Consolation races set remainder of feature field for $10,000-to-win finale.
