PEEBLES, Ohio (Oct. 25) — Tim Dohm of Cross Lanes, W.Va., led 47 of 50 laps Sunday at Brushcreek Motorsports Complex to earn $10,000 in an unsanctioned special event tabbed the Billy Bob. Dohm, who started fifth, battled early with Steve Casebolt of Richmond, Ind., before taking command at the 3/8-mile oval in southern Ohio. | Slideshow

A pair of Kentuckians, Darrell Lanigan of Union and Steve Francis of Ashland, finished second and third with Casebolt and Hall of Famer Donnie Moran of Dresden, Ohio, rounding out the top five finishers in a race postponed several times by weather.

Wayne Chinn of Bradford, Ohio, and Jason Feger of Bloomington, Ill., started on the front row for the main event, but the third-starting Casebolt took the lead on the first lap as Dohm quickly moved into the picture and went ahead on the second lap before a caution for debris.

Dohm stayed in front with Casebolt, Feger and Moran giving chase as fast qualifier Rick Combs slowed to draw a lap-15 caution with a flat tire.

After a botched restart, Casebolt and Lanigan slipped ahead of Dohm when the race went back to green. Dohm quickly regained a spot from Lanigan and two laps later overhauled Casebolt to get back into the lead.

Dohm maintained his edge on the next restart after Greg Oliver slowed with a flat tire on the 23rd lap, and he stretched his margin until Chinn a lap-39 caution for Chinn.

Dohm kept Lanigan and Francis in check over the final laps to secure his second $10,000 victory of the season.
