TEXARKANA, Ark. (July 10) — Outside front-row starter Bill Frye of Greenbrier, Ark., earned $2,000 Friday with a flag-to-flag, 25-lap victory on the O'Reilly Mid-South Racing Association at 67 Speedway. In winning his second career series event, Frye set a torrid pace, lapping competitors by the sixth lap and eventually crossing the finish line 2.5 seconds ahead of polesitter and runner-up Jon Mitchell of nearby Nash, Texas. | Slideshow

Seventh-starting Ray Moore of Haughton, La., was less than a car length back in third in the opener of the weekend doubleheader at the track while MSRA points leader Billy Moyer Jr. of Batesville, Ark., and Kyle Beard of Trumann, Ark., rounded out the top five.

Frye's only scare came on the ninth lap when Mitchell slipped past, only to have the lead changed negated by a caution for Shane Diamant's spin.
