Sunday's MARS Racing Series event at Circle City Raceway in Indianapolis, Ind. has been removed from the series schedule, the tour announced. Next up for MARS competitors is Aug. 20-21 action at Peoria (Ill.) Speedway for the Illinois State Championship weekend.

Other schedule changes announced early this week:

• Aug. 15's $3,000-to-win Mike Reed Memorial at Bradford Speedway in Rew, Pa., no longer carries Zimmer's United Late Model Series sanctioning.

• Citing shortage of tires, Aug. 13's American All-Star Series event at Crossville (Tenn.) Speedway was postponed to Sept. 18. The series had previous pushed back Aug. 14's event at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tenn., to Aug. 28.

• Citing limited tire inventories and dry conditions at the track, the Northern LateModel Racing Association on Tuesday cancelled Aug. 14's Jamestown (N.D.) Speedway event.
