What won the race: Notching his third victory of the season at his hometown track, polesitter and fast qualifier Ben Faircloth was paid handsomely Saturday at Swainsboro Raceway with a $5,000 win in the Pine Tree 100. He held off a charge from eighth-row starter Jason Fitzgerald of Jacksonville, Fla.
Key notes: Eight drivers completed 100 laps and 11 were running at the finish. ... Joey Coulter started third but lasted just 31 laps. ... Joshua Bishop slipped from his front-row starting spot to finish seventh. ... The race was the second of Swainsboro's Great 8 miniseries for track's Crate Late Model division. ...
