What won the race: Ricky Weeks of Rutherfordton, N.C., posted his series-leading 16th victory of the season Friday at Antioch Speedway as David Minton wrapped up his Blue Ridge Outlaws tour championship. Weeks earned $1,200 in the event twice postponed by weather.
Key notes: Weeks won six of the last seven series races. ... The race was postponed from Nov. 23-24 and Nov. 30-Dec. 1 and finally held on Dec. 7 (condensed from an original Dec. 7-8 schedule) because of the snowstorm approaching North Carolina. ... The series has announced 19 dates for 2019 with an expected scheduled of 30-35 races, including a first-time visit to Beckley (W.Va.) Motorsports Park.
