HANFORD, Calif. (Oct. 31) — Heading into Kings Speedway's Western Dirt Nationals, Bobby Hogge IV said a victory would "be the perfect way to top off the season."

Consider Hogge's season topped off perfectly. The 32-year-old driver from Salinas, Calif., raced to victory at Kings to wrap up his championship on the Western Allstars DIRTcar Late Model Series. Hogge started third and took the checkered flag first to earn $2,000 for his series-leading sixth victory of the season.

Polesitter Chris Shannon of Merced, Calif., was second with Jeff Decker of Morgan Hill, Calif., in third. John Lowrey of Bakersfield, Calif., and Richard Papenhausen of Chico, Calif., rounded out the top five.
