Arp continues mastery, earns $3,000 at Boyd's
RINGGOLD, Ga. (Oct. 15) — Nabbing his fourth special-event victory of the season at Boyd's Speedway, Skip Arp of Georgetown, Tenn., earned $3,000 Friday at the third-mile oval for his first victory on the first-year Volunteer Racing Series.
Arp was stalking leader Billy Ogle Jr. of Knoxville, Tenn., when Ogle briefly lost power on the frontstretch midway through the race, allowing Arp the chance to slip by. Arp led the final 21 laps of the 40-lapper to wrap up the victory. | Video
