What won the race: Jeff Rine of Danville, Pa., overtook Trent Brenneman on the 16th lap Friday at Port Royal Speedway and earned $3,000 for his first victory of the season at the half-mile oval. Rine took the checkers 2.027 seconds ahead of Brenneman.
Key notes: Rine won his second straight start; he earned $4,000 six days earlier in Zimmer's United Late Model Series action at Selinsgrove (Pa.) Speedway. ... A red flag was required for a lap-14 caution involving Trever Feathers, Marvin Winters and Kyle Lee in turn one; cars were heavily damaged but there were no injuries. ... Seventeen drivers completed 25 laps. ... Super Late Models were on the undercard of the second of three days of Tuscarora 50 action for sprint cars. ...
