What won the race: Series points leader Chad Simpson of Mount Vernon, Iowa, went around Tony Jackson Jr. on the seventh lap and led the rest of Saturday’s 40-lap Ron Jenkins Memorial at Lucas Oil Speedway for an $11,000 payday. Simpson notched his third Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association victory of the season in finishing 3.5 seconds ahead of his younger brother Chris Simpson.
