What won the race: Taking the point when race-long leader Billy Moyer hopped the turn-one cushion on lap 29, fourth-starting B.J. Robinson of Bossier City, La., led the final seven laps to win Saturday's $5,000 inaugural Steve Rushin Memorial at Batesville Motor Speedway. Robinson notched his second Comp Cams Super Dirt Series victory of the season and the fifth of his career in topping Friday's winner.

Quotable: “I needed to be in lapped traffic and when I seen (Billy Moyer’s stick guy) move him down in one end, he started shoving across (the track),” Robinson said. “The lapped cars definitely helped to be able to pass (Moyer), they held him up a little bit and I was able to sneak by.”

Hall of Famer Billy Moyer, winner of Friday's $5,000 Batesville opener, led the opening 28 laps from the pole before pushing high on the 29th circuit and allowing Robinson to slide by. ... Points leader Logan Martin ran as high as second early before settling for third. ... After battling for much of the second half of the race, Mason Oberkramer used a last-lap pass to secure fourth from Jarret Stuckey, relegating Stuckey to 5th. ... The race was slowed by four cautions, the largest implications coming for a lap-16 stoppage after fourth-running Jamie Elam climbed the turn-two wall and rode it down the backstretch before slamming back down to the track in turn three. Elam, who pressured Moyer from laps 11-14, called it a night. ... Chandler Petty fought mechanical gremlins for the second night and pulled off on lap three. ... The event honored Steve Rushin, the longtime racer, sponsor and car owner from Poplar Bluff, Mo., who died Sept. 9, 2023, at the age of 57. ... The race lasted 25 minutes, with 14 competitors completing 35 laps and 16 running at the checkers.
