What won the race: Turning back veteran Rod Conley to lead the final seven laps, Seth Daniels of Jackson, Ohio, surged from the eighth-starting spot to capture his first Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series victory Saturday in the 21st annual Iron-Man Classic at Atomic Speedway. Daniels won by 2.585 seconds over Conley.

Key notes: Rod Conley led laps 17 through 33 before Daniels passed him shortly after the lap-32 restart. ... R.J. Conley paced the opening 16 laps, but slowed out of the lead on lap 17. He rallied to finish eighth. ... Jacob Stuhr improved seven positions and rounded out the top 10. ... Five caution flags slowed the action on laps four, eight, 18, 23 and 32. ... Fourteen drivers finished on the lead lap in the 40-lap feature that lasted 32 minutes. ... It was the third and final Iron-Man event this season at Atomic.
