What won the race: Third-starting Brad Skinner of Spring Hill, Tenn., went to the outside of race-long leader Tanner English heading to the backstretch on lap 29 and completed the pass for the lead as the pair flashed under the flagstand. After making the pass he moved out to a 1.65-second lead on a night when a lengthy rain delay pushed racing into the wee hours.
Key notes: Skinner held a 1.26-second lead over Terry English when a caution waved on lap 37 for contact between Josh Putnam and Eric Hickerson. Hickerson spun and headed pitside, while Putnam was sent to the tail of the lead lap. … David Seibers was trailing Tanner English in second when contact between he and Terry English on a mid-race restart caused damage to Seibers’s car, forcing him to retire. … East Tennessean Dusty Carver made his Duck River debut after running ninth in Saturday's Carolina Clash race in Bulls Gaps, Tenn. … After rain delayed the program and saturated the DRRP surface, Riley Hickman ditched his spec-engine car for the team’s Club 29 car that had a bigger powerplant. ... Because of the rain delay, the Crate Late Model feature had yet to take the track by 3 a.m. ... Ronny Lee Hollingsworth, Mike Marlar and Skylar Marlar entered the event but didn't stick around after the evening rain hit.
