What won the race: Winning his fifth race in six weeks, Jesse Stovall of Galena, Mo., cruised to a $3,500 victory in the Central Arkansas Pest Services Rockabilly 45, besting Friday's I-30 Speedway winner Jack Sullivan of Greenbrier, Ark. Stovall captured his second Rockabilly victory.
Key notes: Stovall and Jon Mitchell battled early before Stovall pulled away for his eighth career series victory. ... Mitchell raced as a teammate to points leader Kyle Beard of Trumann, Ark. ... During a spring hot streak, Stovall previously won a weekly event at Monett Speedway on April 24, MARS races at Monett and Springfield Raceway on May 1-2 and an MLRA program at Park Jefferson International Speedway on May 30. ... Saturday's first-place prize was boosted $500 thanks to Lance Landers, who did it in memory of the late Jerry Davis of Affiliated Foods (Davis was known to add purse money himself). ... The weekend purse was also boosted thanks to extra money from I-30's Tracey Clay, Chris Sullivan of Central Arkansas Pest Services, Joe Clay Jr. of Dixon Road U-Pull-It and tour director Chris Ellis.
On the move: Eighth-place finisher Ashley Newman of Ripley, Tenn., won Larry Shaw Race Cars Hard Charger honors after starting 12th.
