Randy Weaver's team enjoys victory lane at Smoky Mountain Speedway.
What won the race: Polesitter Randy Weaver of Crossville, Tenn., led the entire 50-lap distance, besting sixth-starting Casey Roberts of Toccoa, Ga., for a $5,000 Ultimate Super Late Model Series victory in Smoky Mountain Speedway's Firecracker 500.
Key notes: Weaver collected his 10th overall win, his fourth Smoky Mountain victory and his third Ultimate triumph. ... He also won the Ultimate tour's March 28 stop in Maryville. ... The first yellow flag flew on the third lap when Cory Hedgecock hit the turn-two wall. ... A slowing Dale McDowell drew a lap-four caution; Robby Moses spun on the ensuing restart for another yellow. ... The next caution waved for Ashton Winger on lap 14. ... Dustin Linville drew the final caution on lap 38 when he hit the turn-two wall. ... The series made its final Smoky Mountain appearance of 2015.
On the move: Dennis Franklin of Gaffney, S.C., charged from the 16th starting spot to finish fourth.
