Tim Dohm (6T) topped Greg Oakes (22) for $5,000 at Tyler County.
What won the race: Outside front-row starter Tim Dohm of Cross Lanes, W.Va. led all 44 laps, fighting off Greg Oakes of Franklinville, N.Y., for a $5,000 UFO victory in the opening night of Tyler County Speedway's Mega 100 weekend. Oakes started seventh but was up to second by a lap-26 restart and hounded Dohm the rest of the way.
Key notes: Dohm captured his second career UFO victory. His previous also came at Tyler County in 2008. ... Friday's event marked the first of two $5,000-to-win Late Model programs during the Mega 100 weekend, which is highlighted by a $12,000-to-win modified event for the Renegades of Dirt. ... Friday's top 12 finishers will be inverted and locked into Saturday's main event. The remaining positions will be filled by qualifying races.
On the move: Tim Senic of Elkins, W.Va., started 16th and finished sixth.
