What won the race: Polesitter Donald McIntosh of Dawsonville, Ga., led all 35 laps, topping Vic Hill of Mosheim, Tenn., for a $3,500 Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals victory at 411 Motor Speedway. McIntosh survived a turn-two skirmish with a lapped car to hang on.
