Casey Roberts emerges from his winning car in victory lane.
What won the race: Casey Roberts of Toccoa, Ga., moved into the Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals points lead by winning his third tour race and second in a row Thursday at Tri-County Racetrack. Roberts earned $3,500 in taking the checkers ahead of fast qualifier Austin Smith, who led laps 5-20 before the high-flying Roberts took control for good.
Key notes: Roberts won his third straight visit to Tri-County. ... Roberts also won home-state races on this year's tour at Swainsboro and Boyd's. ...
