Brian Kosiski led every lap for a victory at Thunder Hill.
What won the race: Brian Kosiski of Omaha, Neb., led all the way from outside the front row at Thunder Hill Raceway for a $1,000 victory in the Conle White Tribute, his second of the season on the National Championship Racing Association tour. Kosiski drew away from fellow front-row starter Delbert Smith for the triumph, denying Smith back-to-back NCRA wins.
Key notes: Brian Kosiski, who won on July 5 at the Belleville (Kan.) High Banks, became the tour's first repeat winner of 2015. ... After winning a heat race, the right-front corner of Kosiski's car briefly caught fire; his father Steve grabbed a fire extinguisher to put it out. ... Dusty Leonard retired with a flat left-rear tire to finish last in the feature.
Winner's sponsors: Kosiski's No. 52 is sponsored by Malvern Bank, Belt Custom Homes and Barber Appraisals.
Points chase: Fifth-place finisher Dan Smith entered the race with a 55-point lead on third-finishing Chris Kratzer.
