Bobby Pierce picked up his ninth victory of the season at Kankakee.
What won the race: Recording his eighth victory in his last 14 starts, 17-year-old Bobby Pierce of Oakwood, Ill., cruised to a $2,000 payday and his seventh career series victory. Pierce won by a near half-track margin over Dennis Erb Jr. while Brian Shirley, polesitter Kevin Weaver and Ryan Unzicker rounded out the top five.
