What won the race: Following a lap-20 caution, third-running Bobby Pierce of Oakwood, Ill., sliced passed Shannon Babb for second and then won a brief battle with pacesetter Brian Shirley to take command for a $5,000 victory in a co-sanctioned event with the Corn Belt Clash Late Model Series and Sunoco American Late Model Series at Farmer City Raceway.

Key notes: Shirley took the lead at the drop of the green and held it for over half of the 35-lapper, while Pierce fell back to third early. ... Pierce pulled away over the final laps en route to his 10th win of 2015. ... Pierce entered fresh off a second-place finisher in Eldora Speedway's World 100 and also won twice on Labor Day weekend at Federated Raceway at I-55 and Spoon River Speedway. ...
