What won the race: Polesitter Walker Arthur of Forest, Va., held off Dennis Franklin over the final six circuits of the 60-lap feature for a $15,000 prize in the Fastrak Racing Series World Championship at Virginia Motor Speedway. Arthur's margin of victory was 0.484 seconds.
Quotable: "I hated to cut Rambo off," Arthur said of his furious late-race battle for the lead with the 2013 event winner. "On that last restart I heard him digging down there so I had to steal that line or he was going to beat me coming to the white flag. I hated to do it but I believe he would have done it to me ... I'm not sure, but I think he would have."
Key notes: Arthur, who previously won a Fastrak event at VMS on April 11, became the 12th different winner of the Fastrak Racing Series World Championship event in its 12-year history and gave him a career-high payoff. ...
