Mark Whitener picked up $3,000 for his victory in Ellisville, Fla.
What won the race: Mark Whitener of Middleburg, Fla., notched his eighth overall victory of 2015 Saturday with a National Late Model Series triumph at the newly-reopened All-Tech Raceway. Whitener, who also won at the track a month earlier, outran fast qualifier Russell Brown Jr. of Valdosta, Ga., to earn $3,000.
Key notes: Whitener notched his first NLMS victory since the 2014 season opener on Jan. 4 at Waycross (Ga.) Motor Speedway. ... The race was originally scheduled for nearby North Florida Speedway. ... The event drew eight entrants.
