What won the race: Second-starting Brandon Overton of Appleton, Ga., overtook polesitter Casey Roberts on the eighth circuit of the 50-lap feature, outrunning Dale McDowell of Chickamauga, Ga., at Cochran Motor Speedway to earn his first career Southern All Star Series victory.
Quotable: "To outrun Dale McDowell, that's kind of like a dream really," Overton said. "To grow up watching these guys and come out here and beat 'em tonight ... it's pretty special.”
