What won the race: Grabbing the lead on an early restart, fourth-starting Tim Dohm of Cross Lanes, W.Va., captured the first United Late Model Series visit to Tyler County Speedway in the 27th annual Earl Hill Memorial. Dohm went from third to first with an outside move and raced to a $5,080 victory over Jared Hawkins and Eddie Carrier Jr., who both led early.
Quotable: "We got up into lapped cars, and it made it a little bit tough," Dohm said. "But after we got running there, the last 20 (laps), I think it might've gone green the last 20 ... it was fun."
Key notes: Dohm won his first race with the Pennsylvania-based ULMS tour. ... Jared Hawkins drove the No. 27 Bobby Lake Motorsports ride (the number normally used by Michael Lake). ... Mike Benedum drove the No. 1 normally driven by Paul Wilmoth Jr. and Wilmoth drove his brother Steve's car. ... The Earl Hill Memorial was originally scheduled for April 9 but postponed a week.
On the move: Greg Oakes of Franklinville, N.Y., advanced from the 12th starting spot to finish sixth.
