Evan Ellis heads to another Chevy tour victory at Magnolia.
What won the race: Evan Ellis of Plantersville, Miss., took the lead from polesitter Michael Page of Douglasville, Ga., on the second lap and led the rest of the 30-lap Chevrolet Performance Series feature Friday at Magnolia Motor Speedway. Ellis won on the tour at Magnolia for the second straight season.
Key notes: Fourteen of 24 starters completed 30 laps. ... The series wraps up its Mississippi doubleheader on Saturday at Whynot Motorsports Park.
On the move: William Thomas of Phenix City, Ala., started eighth and finished third; Ryan King of Seymour, Tenn., started 22nd and finished fifth.
