What won the race: Opening the Super Late Model Racing Series season, Kyle Berck of Marquette, Neb., continued his winning ways at Crawford County Speedway with his series-leading 64th career victory. Berck started fourth and raced to a victory worth $1,200.
Key notes: The 45-year-old Berck took the checkers ahead of fellow second-row starter Ben Schaller of Omaha, Neb. ... Kyle Segebart of Breda, Iowa, started on the pole but slipped back to finish fifth. ... The Nebraska-based series opened its ninth season. ... Berck won the tour's season opener for the third time.
