Todd Morrow is all smiles behind the wheel after his victory.
What won the race: Todd Morrow of East Ridge, Tenn., rallied from his 10th starting spot for his second victory of the month with the Southern All Stars. Morrow overtook fifth-starting Dane Dacus of Arlington, Tenn., in the late stages to grab the 40-lap victory.
Key notes: Morrow has three career Southern All Star victories, two during May. ... He won May 3 at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Ala. ... Anthony Burroughs led the first half of the race before Dane Dacus took over on lap 21. ... Five cautions slowed the action, including the last yellow when Brandon Kinzer and Dustin Stutts tangled in turn one on a restart. ... Leading series rookie Chris Wilson of Crossville, Tenn., started 12th and finished fifth. ... The series made its first visit to Hohenwald since 1993. ... Mike Head of Ellenwood, Ga., won a '91 event at the track while Rex Richey of Ringgold, Ga., won in '92 and '93 (when the track was called Highland Park Speedway).
