Justin Reed and his crew enjoy victory lane at Quincy Raceway.
What won the race: Defending his home turf, Justin Reed of Quincy, lll., overtook McKay Wenger of Fairbury, lll., amid traffic on lap 16 and raced to a 25-lap Midwest Big 10 Super Late Model Series victory at Quincy Raceway. Wenger, winner of the previous series event at Quincy, finished 1.7 seconds behind Reed, who picked up $2,000.
Key notes: Justin Reed became the fourth winner on the tour through four events. ... The tour returns to Quincy on Sept. 11 for the season finale. ... Quincy also hosts the UMP DIRTcar Summernationals on July 10 and the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series on July 28.
