Kenny Pettyjohn captured the AMS finale in Selinsgrove, Pa.
What won the race: Polesitter Kenny Pettyjohn of Millsboro, Del., overtook second-starting Rick Eckert of York, Pa., on the 12th lap and led the rest of the 40-lapper for a victory in the Appalachian Mountain Speedweek finale. Pettyjohn earned $4,000 in taking the checkers and wrapping up the AMS title, finishing .900 seconds ahead of Eckert with Gregg Satterlee in third.
