B.J. Robinson rallies from the seventh row for a Whynot victory.
What won the race: Starting 13th, B.J. Robinson of Shreveport, La., picked up his first career MSCCS victory at Whynot Motorsports Park. Robinson took the checkers over home-state drivers Brian Rickman and David Breazeale.
Key notes: Saturday's event marked the second of four MSCCS visits to Meridian. ... The tour returns to Whynot on Aug. 6 and Sept. 17. ... Additionally, the track hosts its season-ending Coors Light Fall Classic on Oct. 21-22, with many MSCCS competitors expected to enter the $15,000-to-win event.
