What won the race: Polesitter Jeremy McLaughlin of Danforth, Ill., snapped the two-race win streak of Steve Lance Jr. of Cuba, Ill., on the QuickCar Racing Products Dirt Late Model Series, pocketing $1,000 for his efforts.
Quotable: “I’m just glad that Lance started as far back as he did when we started the race or I may have been in bigger trouble,” McLaughlin joked.
