What won the race: Continuing his breakout 2016 season, Willie Milliken of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., roared off the outside pole to collect a $8,900 top prize for capturing the I-95 Late Model Challenge Series-sanctioned Monk Clary Memorial at Clary's Speedway. He was victorious over David Williams of Mechanicsville, Md., and 2015 event winner Russell Erwin of Beaverdam, Va.
Key notes: Milliken's second I-95 Series triumph of 2016 continued his head-turning campaign that also includes wins on the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series and FUEL 525-engine tour. ... Milliken's car owner, Mason Price, also competed in the race, starting fifth and finishing eighth. ... The event was run over two days with qualifying and dashes on Friday night and the headliner on Saturday.
