Dustin Strand's team enjoys victory lane at Devil's Lake.
What won the race: Dustin Strand of Grand Forks, N.D., overtook Shane Edginton on the 12th lap at Devil's Lake Speedway and raced his his seventh career NLRA victory. Bill Mooney finished second and Edginton, limping home with a damaged car after a late three-wide battle, was third.
Key notes: A rainy day delayed the action about an hour. ... Strand's seven NLRA victories tie him for ninth on the all-time list; he also won the tour's previous event on July 17 at Red River Valley Speedway. ... Points leader Brad Seng improved seven positions in rounding out the top five. ... NLRA competitors invaded Devil's Lake for the 18th time. ... Devil's Lake will host the tour again Aug. 20.
