What won the race: Dominating the Hall of Fame Clash, Chris Ferguson of Mount Holly, N.C., earned $4,000 Sunday for his second Carolina Clash victory of the season at Cherokee Speedway. Series points leader Johnny Pursley finished second with Ross Bailes in third at the 4/10-mile oval.
Key notes: Ferguson's 13th career Carolina Clash victory puts him alone in fourth on the all-time series victory list. ... Ferguson also won May 7 in Carolina Clash action at Cherokee. ...
